Following a few years of aging in this well-charred barrel, the finished whiskey is then brought to proof with pure, locally-sourced water.
Bright amber in color, each sip of this whiskey begins with a robust aroma of ripe tropical fruits, coconut, fudge, butterscotch, toffee, sweet cereal, and black pepper, paving the way for a thick and full-bodied palate of dates, peach, more coconut notes, vanilla cream, walnuts, mixed peels, sultanas, and generous helpings of spice before wrapping up with a long and mellow finish accented by touches of fruits and warm cinnamon.
