After which, the resulting whiskey is then put through a process known as mellowing, passing it through a 10-foot layer of Maplewood charcoal before being left to mature in new, charred American oak barrels. Following years of aging, the finished whiskey is brought to proof with pristine, locally-sourced water before finally being bottled and ready to be enjoyed by whiskey lovers around the globe.
