Each batch of the Green Spot Irish Whiskey begins with a blend of malted and unmalted barley which are fermented and then triple-distilled with the resulting spirit and then aged in a combination of 75% ex-bourbon and 25% ex-sherry barrels for several years to create the expression’s iconic flavor profile. After this, the finished whiskey is then cut with pure water before being finally bottled and labeled.
Light amber in color, each sip of this whiskey yields a welcoming aroma of ripe fruits, toffee, vanilla cream, cereal, and toasted oak. This is then complemented by a soft, sweet, and warming palate of green apples, pears, apricots, coconut, barley, menthol, and youthful oak, all neatly coming together into a long and creamy finish of vanilla and spice.
