Made exclusively from malted Scottish barley, each batch of this whisky starts with the malt being fermented before being distilling in traditional copper pot stills and the resulting spirit aged in very used bourbon barrels. After 15 years of slowly developing its rich flavors, the Scotch is then transferred to new French Limousin oak barrels for further polishing before finally being proofed with pure water, bottled, and labeled.

Deep gold in color, each dram of this whisky yields an inviting nose of fudge, apple, Madeira wine, buttercream, almonds, flora notes, and oak which is then immediately followed by a scrumptious and velvety palate of peaches, oranges, vanilla, more almonds, butterscotch, Chardonnay-like oakiness, and soft spices, all neatly coming together into a crisp and fairly lengthy finish accented by notes of peppery spice.
