Made exclusively from malted Scottish barley, this whisky begins with the malt being fermented and then distilled using their distinctive "swan neck" copper pot stills, creating a clean spirit that is then left to mature for well over a decade in ex-bourbon American oak casks.
After this initial beauty rest, the whisky is then finished in new, charred new American Oak barrels sourced from The Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville, Kentucky, giving it a rich and vibrant bourbon-esque flavor profile tamed with the addition of pure Robbie Dhu spring water.
