Introducing Whiskey JYPSI's newest creation, the Explorer Series, which continues the tradition of sourcing top-quality whiskeys and ingredients, finished with unique and exceptional woods from around the world.
Guided by whiskey maker Ari Sussman, the first Explorer release features a blend of two six-year-old bourbons: a sweet, low-rye bourbon from Kentucky and a spicy, high-rye bourbon from Indiana. The combined mash bill of 66% corn, 30% rye, and 4% malted barley is carefully reduced to 103 proof and finished using two types of oak – French Oak from the renowned Forest of Tronçais and American Oak from the Appalachian Mountains. These woods were selected to enhance the blend's natural sweetness and spice.
