Crafted from the finest Lowland and Highland-grown blue Weber agave, the tequila starts its life with plants being harvested at optimum maturity before being slow-cooked in a combination of traditional clay ovens and a small artisanal autoclave. After which, the cooked agaves are crushed, extracting as much of their juice as possible before being fermented and then distilled, creating a clean spirit which is then aged in oak barrels for 24-28 months inside underground cellars, slowly developing its flavors before finally being tapped, brought to proof, and packaged beautiful slender glass decanters.
On the nose, this intense amber-colored tequila opens up with an enticing aroma of dried fruits and wood then give way to a smooth and complex palate of figs, dates, oranges, caramel, butterscotch, and sweet oak before culminating in a persistent and velvety finish with a mild alcohol bite.
