Produced in Polmos Żyrardów, Poland, the Belvedere brand of Polish vodka was launched in 1993 by LVMH as the world’s first-ever super-premium vodka. Named after the Polish presidential palace in Warsaw, the brand produces its expressions from only the finest Polish grains and potatoes which are distilled in the traditional Polish style resulting in a range of exceptionally smooth and clean-tasting vodka that are as versatile as they are delectable.
Serving as the backbone of their range, the Belvedere Vodka is crafted exclusively from Polish Dankowskie rye which is fermented and distilled along with pure groundwater using a four-column still. After this, the resulting spirit is then proofed with more pure water before being charcoal filtered for smoothness and purity prior to being packaged in bottles adorned with the image of the Belweder presidential palace.
Once poured, this crystal-clear vodka yields an enticing aroma of soft cream and vanilla which then give way to a well-rounded and velvety palate of more vanilla notes, rye spice, and white pepper than then culminate in a fairly long and toasty finish of almonds, clotted cream, and Brazil nuts.
